Anne Djupedal
|
Vice President and head of design & training, Ms. Djupedal works with the PC user community,
helping clients set up and use various types of software including financial packages,
spreadsheets, word-processors, desktop publishers and graphics programs,
followed by in-depth training and support. She additionally helps clients
with the design and creation of business literature and/or graphics as needed.
Ms. Djupedal brings experience and a variety of value-added
skills to the position. She spent over seven years as an IBM mainframe on-line applications
developer for the Wall Street firm of Drexel Burnham Lambert, where as project leader she
implemented projects through their "full project life-cycle."
More recently, she was the Head of Product Development and Customer Support, for Knowledgecast -
an e-learning company that applied creative interactive video solutions
to support clients' educational objectives.
Initially hired to conduct telephone interviews of training participants for
Performance Advantage of Norwalk, CT, she later designed and created
training manuals and course material for this management-training firm in a MacIntosh
desktop-publishing environment and maintained custom-designed databases containing
proprietary information, while she helped train new recruits on the interviewing
process and documented how to use the firm's custom computer software.
She continues to create training material where necessary - recently completing
a series of classes to help "computer challenged" individuals feel comfortable using
the Windows environment.
An avocation has been art and graphic design, both computer-aided and using
more traditional tools, where she has done work ranging from greeting cards
to illustrations commemorating special events. Ms. Djupedal has received rave reviews
for her creative and eye-pleasing newsletter for a local social and charitable club
- for which she has been the editor for the past three years.
Ms. Djupedal has a BFA Cum Laude from the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio;
A diploma in music & art from Voss Folkehogskule in Voss, Norway;
Certification in Computer Programming and Design from New York University's
School of Continuing Education.
